Your data is extremely sensitive and we designed I'm Alive to protect it to the fullest. This policy explains how we collect, store and process data.
1. Data we collect
Account information: email, name, phone number, avatar.
Check-in configuration and emergency contact list (name, contact, relationship).
Location: only when you enable location sharing (opt-in). You can turn it off anytime.
2. How we use data
Data is used only to operate the service: tracking your check-in schedule, sending reminders, and sending rescue alerts when needed.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
3. Sharing with emergency contacts
Only when you are overdue on your check-in per your configuration will your emergency contacts receive a rescue alert with the information needed to help you.
4. Your rights
You have the right to access and export all of your data as a JSON file in Settings > Danger Zone.
You have the right to permanently delete your account and all related data at any time.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored on access-controlled servers. Passwords are one-way hashed. Login sessions use time-limited tokens that can be revoked.
